In Vallena we have been cultivating olive trees for almost two hundred years. Thanks to the favorable micro-climate of this small and well protected valley on the hills north of Verona, we produce an excellent olive oil.
In 1989, we added to the already present olive trees of the Grignano cultivar, another 300 new plants, mixing Grignano with other cultivars grown in Italy (Leccino and Frantoio). The area is particularly suited for this type of olive trees,thanks to its soil and exposition. The result is a well-structured oil, characterized by a marked herbaceous note on the nose, that is particularly present just after pressing and a delicate and persistent flavor.
